비평적 관점으로 본 장애인무용의 예술적 발전에서 대한민국장애인국제무용제의 역할과 과제 +
본 연구는 2016년 출범한 이래로 장애인무용의 예술적 발전에 기여해 온 대한민국장애인 국제무용제의 역할과 과제를 논의한다. 연구 방법으로는 실증적, 논리적 입증을 강화하 기 위해 관련 문헌자료를 중심으로 디지털콘텐츠를 활용하는 한편 2016년부터 2022년까 지 해당 축제를 현장에서 참관한 경험과 관련 저술을 망라한다. 대한민국장애인국제무용 제의 의미와 역할은 장애인의 문화기본권 신장 기대, 장애인무용의 구심점 역할, 안정적 인 공연제작 여건 확립, 장애인무용에 대한 사회적 인식과 관심 고취, 국내외 장애인무용 네트워킹 등으로 살펴볼 수 있다. 장애인무용의 전문적인 발전을 도모하기 위한 과제로 는 대표성을 띤 콘텐츠 개발, 장애무용가 양성 및 지원, 관련 교육프로그램 개발 등을 꼽을 수 있다. 이와 같은 연구는 여전히 장애인무용에 대한 논의가 적은 현실에서 관련 연구의 진척에 일종의 초석으로 작용할 수 있으리라 본다.
The Role and Tasks of the Korean International Accessible Dance Festival in the Artistic Development of Dance with Disabilities
The purpose of this study is to discuss the role and tasks of the Korean International Accessible Dance Festival, which has contributed to the artistic development of people with disabilities since its launch in 2016. The study explores the meaning and role of the Korean International Accessible Dance Festival as follows: 1) the promotion of basic cultural rights of people with disabilities, 2) the pivotal role of dance for people with disabilities, 3) the establishment of stable performance production conditions, 4) the promotion of social awareness and interest in dance for people with disabilities, and 5) the connection of people with disabilities at home and abroad. Tasks to promote the professional development of dance for people with disabilitiesinclude the development of representative content, training and support for people with disabilities, and the development of related educational programs. This study can act as a cornerstone for the progress of discussions on dance for people with disabilities.
